Gamay from Juliénas in Beaujolais, 30 days on whole berries and ten months in old barrels, no added sulphur. Juicy, crunchy and full of energy, tastes good with friends who drop by unannounced.

Fun fact: the grapes come from Domaine David-Beaupère, where Hugo worked before he bought his own vineyard.

Taste: crunchy red cherry, raspberry and a little pepper, juicy and full of energy.

Food: a charcuterie board, or a burger off the grill.
