Light, fresh, unoaked Chardonnay from François Aubert in the Loue valley, where sheep graze between the rows every autumn instead of a mower, tastes good with the first glass on a Friday.
Fun fact: named for the Croix de Croux parcel above the village of Vuillafans.
Taste: green apple, lemon and white flowers, light and fresh.
Food: steamed mussels with fries, or a croque monsieur.
