The white of the parcel, Chardonnay and Savagnin on native yeast with no added sulphur. Taut and lightly oxidative without going all the way, tastes good with scorned loves.
Fun fact: the name is a toast, “to these scorned loves”, and the label adds “to every friend who has been silenced”.
Taste: lemon, walnut and bruised apple, with a salty finish.
Food: aged Comté, or chicken with morels and cream.
