The estate is currently mainly made up of two terroirs that Francois have been cultivating in Organic Agriculture for 20 years (note that he is the 5th generation to express himself on this site), namely:
– A plot of approximately 3 hectares “Le Grand-Cléré” whose clay-flint soil rises to an altitude of approximately 110 meters (one of the highest valleys on the Touraine plateau), surrounded by permanent fallow land and woods.
In this place which is conducted in natural permaculture (with controlled natural grassing and a few trees to promote the development of fauna and ecosystems) 3 grape varieties have been installed for about fifty years: Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
All the grapes are vinified in each vintage in a creative way according to the potential of the year.
Oenological products including sulphites are never used.
