Der Glücksjäger

GlücksJäger was founded in 2011. In 2012 they harvested grapes for their first wine, Cabernet Sauvignon & Riesling.
They cultivate around 4 hectares of vineyards around their home village of Venningen where the soil composition is loess clay with a bit of limestone.
The philosophy is to get the taste of the grapes unadulterated into the glass.
They make natural wines out of conviction & passion & value the very best grapes & a low yield per hectare.
In all of the vineyards the grapes are halved & defoliated. Only the best & ripest are harvested.
The grapes macerate for up to 48 hours to extract the full flavor from the berries.
All of the wines are aged in wooden barrels & stored on full yeast until bottling without filtration.
The tag & label is their Dalmatian dog Anouk & all labels & marketing are handled within the family.
